TAI CHI & QIGONG
Qigong exercises are energy work/practices and are usually simple
movements coordinated with your breathing that enhance the circulation
of blood and Qi within your body. With regular practice Qigong will
provide a greater awareness of your body internally & externally,
physically & energetically. It is also geared towards reducing
stress, promoting peace of mind, improving strength, balance and
posture resulting in an overall improvement in health and well being.
Tai Chi is forms of coordinated movements with the breath that all
have self defence applications, and as such Tai-chi is a martial
art. With regular practice, posture, balance and coordination are
all improved, and high blood pressure can be lowered whilst the
immune system can be boosted.
