Acupuncture is one of the ancient branches of traditional Chinese
medicine. It deals directly with the human body’s energy systems,
the vital energy of life or “Qi”. Qi flows around the
body in 12 main Acupuncture channels: each of the channels is functionally
connected to a specific organ. Along each of the channels there
are vital points which can be stimulated by Acupuncture or Acupressure
and cause an effect on the Qi in the channel.
Jim has been studying Chinese Health arts since 1997 having qualified
from the renowned ‘Northern College of Acupuncture’
in 2003 in Traditional Cinese Medicine, acupressure and then in
2006 qualifying in Acupuncture & Moxa therapy.
Acupuncture can be used to treat many different conditions from
acute to long term chronic ailments, from simple muscular or skeletal
injuries such as back pain to illnesses of a much more serious nature
including....
Migraines
Depression
Anxiety & insomnia
Addictions
Neurological Disorders
Respiratory conditions
Digestive problems
Urinary & Reproductive difficulties
Immune Function Disorders
.....as well as many other conditions.
Most patients do not experience any pain but often feel a release
of general tension and an overall sense of well-being.
